CARPAL TUNNEL
Many people know carpal tunnel as pain and/or weakness into the wrist hand. Carpal tunnel syndrome
happens when there is narrowing of the tunnel and then puts compression on the median nerve. Symptoms include numbness, tingling, pain or weakness in the arm and hand. All treatments for carpal tunnel are to ultimately relieve pressure off of the median nerve. The
most common surgery involves the cutting of a wrist ligament to reduce the pressure. However, chiropractic prides itself on using less aggressive modes for treatment. Wrist manipulation as well as ultrasound, and exercise rehabilitation programs are all used at Health In Motion for carpal tunnel treatment.
